WAGC er verdens største amatørgolfturnering, hvor danske spillere konkurrerer i fem handicaprækker på tværs af landet. Vinderne fra hver række kvalificerer sig til landsfinalen på Lübker Golf Resort, og herfra går de videre til verdensfinalen på Jeju Island i Sydkorea. Turneringen er åben for alle golfspillere over 18 år med handicap op til 25,4.
